What we collect and why.
Last updated October 2026. This is a beta; the policy will grow as the product does.
What we collect. Your email address, the role you tell us (brand, retailer, creator, other), an optional company name, and the trends you add to your watchlist. We use this to run your account, send the weekly email and shape what the radar shows you first.
What we don’t do. We do not sell or share member data. We do not place third-party advertising. Trend signals are built from public sources (forecaster reports, trade press, search and video interest); nothing on the site is built from member data.
Cookies. A session cookie keeps you signed in. No tracking cookies are set.
Providers. Hosting on Vercel, data on Supabase, email through Resend, payments (when paid plans open) through Stripe. Each processes data only to provide its service.
Your choices. Email hello@theshelfsignal.com to export or delete your account and data; we will act within 14 days.
